Can You Board My Puppy Or Kitten?
Yes, as long as they are toilet trained and over 6 months old.
Do My Pets Need To Be Spayed/Neutered Before Boarding With You?
No.
Your pets will be the only ones in the house so it’s not usually an issue, however, Raw's Paws take no responsibility for 'accidental mating' with siblings.
Please note, if your cat sprays I cannot take them in.
Do You Accept All Breeds Of Dog For Boarding?
No.
In order to comply with my licence and the law, in line with the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, I cannot board the following breeds:
Pit Bull
Fila Brasiliero
Dogo Argentino
Japenese Tosa
Nor can I board anything registered under the Dangerous Wild Animal Act 1976 i.e Wolf Hybrids.
How Do I Book?
Please check the home boarding calendar as that is totally up to date with all fosterings, bookings and provisional bookings (listed as TBC).
If there are boarding dates available that suit you, you can book online through the same page, just click on the 'make a booking' button above the calendar. I will only accept a boarding booking if we have had a successful taster visit.
If you prefer to call to chat through what you need, give me a ring on 0141 390 2356.
My Dog Is Not Really Sociable With Other Dogs, Is This A Problem?
No as your dog will be the only dog in my home (unless with other family members). Dogs go out to play/toilet in my secure enclosed garden at least 4 times per day, on a long line.
How Often Will You Walk My Dog?
I am not a dog walker who boards so dog walking is an extra chargeable service for dogs staying with me. I only walk dogs when have been with me for at least 7 days and will only take them further than the end of my street if I am happy they have built up some level of trust with me. If you wish your dog to be walked in a public area (I live near a huge park) I charge a dog walking rate of £10 per walk (up to 30 minutes) and they will kept on harness and lead/long line at all times.
